Founded in the 1990’s and servicing Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, Northwest Abstract and Class Abstract provide the highest quality title product and services to our customers, with strong community minded leadership and consistent professionalism and expertise. Our dependability and ability to thrive through the ever changing and challenging world of real estate is one of the many things that sets us apart from other title insurance providers.

Chris grew up in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia with his five brothers. He attended Roman Catholic High School and then later the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his BA degree in Economics with a second major in German.
He first started working in the title insurance industry back in February of 2000 with his father, Robert “Gus” Bischoff, who worked in the field for over 40 years. Under the guidance of his dad, who founded Class Abstract and owned and operated that agency with Chris’s mom Adele, Chris learned everything he could about the family business. In 2014, the owners of Northwest Abstract combined with Class Abstract and hired Chris to run and grow title operations. In 2021, Chris was made a partner.
Chris and his wife Christine currently live in Mount Airy with their 4 boys and spend most of their free time shuttling them to their various sports events.

Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every deal she touches. Beginning her Title career in 2004 with the Trident Group, Megan mastered the ins and outs of opening and closing a transaction. As a licensed Title Agent with Sage Premier Settlements from 2011-2019, she honed her skills and mastery, graduating PLTA's 1st Leadership Academy in 2018, and settling hundreds of properties. She joined the Class and Northwest Abstract Team in 2019, bringing her professional manner and skilled expertise. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, she resides with her family and puppy, Bradley Cooper.

Jenn has been a Title Professional for over 12 years. She started her career with Chelsea Land Transfer and joined Class Abstract and Northwest Abstract in 2013. With an attention to detail, and thorough follow through with clients, lenders, and Agents, she is an invaluable member of our staff. A Philadelphia Native, Jenn calls Bucks County home with her Husband, Son, and four legged daughter, Polly.

Mike has been in the title industry for seven years and joined Northwest Abstract in 2015 as a settlement agent. Outside of work, Mike enjoys being active, completing home improvement projects, riding the Peloton and playing soccer on the weekends. He currently lives in Bensalem with his wife, daughter and their pug, Olivia.

Julie hails from Austin, Texas where she developed her love of live music and great Tex-Mex cuisine, keeping her busy investigating all the Philadelphia scene has to offer.
After relocating to South Philadelphia from Texas she and her family eventually settled down in the suburbs just outside the Chestnut Hill area.
She has 15 years combined Management, Title and Real Estate Services expertise and is at her best solving complicated title issues for her residential clients or working with builders & developers navigating the nuances of new construction projects.
